Atomic clocks are the most accurate timekeepers in the world. It is accurate to within 1,000th of a second of Coordinated Universal Time . This ensures absolute accuracy, to the second, by automatically picking up a signal from radio transmitters in locations all over the world. In the UK the signal transmitter is in Anthorn , in Germany the transmitter is located in Mainflingen, near Frankfurt. In the USA the signal transmitter is located in Fort Collins and in Japan the signal transmitters are located in Fukuoka and Fukushima. These watches can compensate for summertime changes, automatically changing the time forwards or backwards at the correct time of year. Wave Captor watches will also adjust for daylight savings and when traveling within the coverage area the watch will update to display the correct time .
