Glass Watches

Watch glass refers to the transparent covering over the face of a watch. Watches glasses usually made of one of three common materials. Acrylic Glass is actually a plastic, but it is tough, flexible and transparent. Children's watches often use an acrylic glass. Mineral glass is the most common form of glass. It is made by special treatment of the ordinary glass in order to make it more scratch resistant. No one can distinguish mineral and sapphire glass from each other. Synthetic sapphire glass is the most expensive and resistant to the appearance of scratches. Sapphire is one of the most solid materials in the world as it made out of crystallized aluminum oxide. Non-reflective glass is coated with a special very thin film from one or both sides. It reduces reflection and makes it easier to read face. Non-reflective glass may be mineral or sapphire. Also they seem to be invisible, because they do not reflect light. Also it can be easily seen in watch with a light face.
