Calendar Watches

There are several types of watches' calendars. The first and common is the simple date window Calendar which is shown through an aperture on the dial. Another type of watches' calendars is the Annual Calendar which automatically adjusts for months with different lengths apart from February, and will therefore only need one adjustment per year. The Perpetual Calendar watches is one which recognizes the varying lengths of each year; automatically adjust for the different lengths of even or odd months, including February, depending upon the leap year. Perpetual calendars present indicators for date, day, month, and the leap year cycle. Perpetual calendars, which can be powered by Quartz or mechanical movements, are programmed to be accurate until the year 2100, and most of perpetual calendar watches also incorporate a moon phase display.
