Automatic Watches

It refers to the mechanical watch whose mainspring is wound automatically by the natural motion of the wearer's arm. This kinetic energy of the wearer movement keeps the watch wound and running, and makes it unnecessary to manually wind the watch. Watch with Automatic mechanism has a winding rotor which sits inside the watch and allowing the parts in the middle to move the time forward. That movement of the winding rotor is then captured by a ratchet to automatically wind the watch's mainspring. Automatic watches require no battery and most of them have up to 36 hours of power reserve. But it is necessary for anyone with an automatic watch to wear it every day in order to keep the time properly, as if an automatic watch is not worn for a day or two, it will need to be wound by hand to restart again.
